We are seeking a leader for our church that is dedicated to preaching and teaching the Bible as the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God and adheres to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000. This man should have a heart for missions and an aptitude to minister to all ages in our church and community. Pastor at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church in Enoree, SC. Conveniently located near I-26 in Spartanburg County. Our area and Church are growing rapidly and we are looking to hire a full time Senior Pastor.

This position would require office hours. Typical office hours would be 4 weekdays (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Our worship services are currently on Sunday mornings at 10:30am and Wednesday Prayer Service at 6:30pm.

Other Duties:

  • Leadership: Leading the church staff and working collaboratively with other leaders to fulfill the mission and vision of the church.

Full Time Children's Ministry Director at First Baptist Church Clover, SC is prayerfully seeking a Full-Time Children’s Ministry Director.  This position will involve ministering to families from pre-school through the 5th grade.  FBCCLOVER is attraction young families with children that are connecting to our church through a thriving AWANA and Upward Sports ministry.  

 

Principle Function:

The Children’s Ministry Director is responsible to the Minister of Discipleship and Evangelism, for the development and execution of a comprehensive program of Christian development at the preschool and elementary student level.  The Children’s Ministry Director will consult with staff, appropriate committees and program leaders concerning activities in their areas when students are involved.

 

General Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as coordinator and resource person for all children’s ministry in the church working with parents, the Preschool and Children’s Ministry Committees, and the existing organizations of the church.

  2. Provide Christian leadership, direction, counseling, and nurturing of children; thereby enhancing Christian growth, unity, and fellowship.

  3. Plan, staff, promote and implement a Wednesday Night Ministry to children. 

  4. Plan, staff, promote and implement a Sunday morning preschool ministry.

  5. Conduct, promote and coordinate all preschool and children’s events.

  6. Plan four children’s events a year and two preschool events a year.

  7. Prepare a monthly Children’s Ministry Calendar.

  8. Train and supervise Children’s Ministry support staff.

  9. Perform children’s sermons as needed.

  10. Participate in a regular program of visitation to children and their families.

  11. Participate in hospital and crisis ministry visitation to children and their families.

  12. Participate as a member of the Church Council.

  13. Attend weekly staff meetings.

  14. Provide articles for church media.

  15. Attend the 11:00 a.m. service regularly and the 8:30 a.m. service when needed.

 

This position is a full-time position and furthers the church’s religious mission.

Youth Pastor (Minister) at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church

 

Reports to: Senior Pastor

Hours: 12-15 weekly

Mission Statement:

At Cudd we desire to see people, believe in Jesus, belong to a family, become a disciple, and build God’s Kingdom. We achieve this by expository preaching, hosting weekly small groups, organizing midweek programming, and serving and giving to local ministries.

 

Summary of the position:

The youth pastor (minister) will work with the Connections pastor, the youth committee, parents, and students to create an environment where students (6th-12th graders) can live out the mission statement of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must attend a weekly meeting with the Connections Pastor and the Senior Pastor if you cannot attend weekly staff meetings.

  • Must plan and execute quarterly meetings with the youth committee*

  • Must attend all youth activities including, camp, DNOW, Fall Retreat, midweek programs, and Sunday morning gatherings.

  • Must attend staff annual planning meeting every October.

  • Must have an adequate number of events on the annual calendar.

  • Must support the Connections Pastor** in planning and executing events such as DNOW, Camp, and Fall Retreat.

  • Must support the Connections Pastor in finding curriculum that affirms Cudd Memorial’s beliefs and mission.

  • Must attend one personal ministry training annually (Conclave, Orange conference, Youth Pastor’s Summit, or YM360 Clear Conference.)

  • Must invest in the students personally and spiritually.

  • Must teach during the midweek program and 1 of the Sunday programs (Sunday school OR small groups).

 

Qualifications (The candidate we are searching for must meet the following): 

  • Be in an active relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Be able to commit 12-15 hours a week to ministry at Cudd Memorial Baptist

  • Be passionate about both student ministry and Jesus Christ

  • Agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
